Weapon attributes spreading and changing

    I'm experiencing a really odd bug where my special weapon effects (armor piercing, rapid fire, heavy mount) are spreading to weapons they shouldn't be on.

    For instance, I have a battleship designed like this:

    Weapons:
    3 Tungsten Gun (270 degrees front, Heavy Mount)
    1 Tungsten Gun (270 degrees front, rapid fire)
    1 Tungsten Gun (360 degrees)

    The first time I took it into combat, these values remained as expected.
    After that some other combats took place with other ships and I redesigned a different ship slot.
    Then I fought some battles and now the ship shows this layout in battle:

    Weapons:
    3 Tungsten Gun (360 degrees front, Rapid Fire, Heavy Mount, Armor Piercing)
    1 Tungsten Gun (360 degrees front, Rapid Fire, Heavy Mount, Armor Piercing)
    1 Tungsten Gun (360 degrees front, Rapid Fire, Heavy Mount, Armor Piercing)

    This bug is pretty rampant in my game at the moment. I've seen this across multiple ships in my game. The initial reason I noticed it is because I deliberately designed ships with armor piercing weapons and non-armor piercing weapons to deal with the bug I submitted earlier, but what ended up happening is in battle all the weapons were given armor piercing. A nice "free" upgrade, but not what I wanted since armor piercing is bugged.

    I then thought maybe if a ship had any weapon modifications on it then the bug spread that modification to all other weapons on the ship. That's when I designed the battleship described above. That battleship does not have armor piercing on it.

    EDIT:
    Okay, I have reproduced it.

    1) take brand new ship into battle
    2) enemy flees
    3) check ship on galaxy map and it now has all the weapon modifications

    I believe it is not clearing something out of memory from prior combats and is then applying all of those weapon modifications to my ships at the end of combat. As such every ship I enter combat with now ends up with all modifiers applied to its weapons.

    Here is a save file where you can easily see the issue.

    1) Load the save
    2) Note Testship heading to BLEIS. Check weapon stats.
    3) Click Next
    4) Fight Battle manually
    5) Enemy flees
    6) Invade planet
    7) Check weapon stats on ship. Note they all now have all attributes
    8) Fight another battle and you will see all attributes on all the weapons.

    This is now fixed and will be included in the next version to be launched soon.

    Thanks again for the detailed report. That was invaluable information to have which has sped up the fixing considerably. And, you were right, the game was clearing/resetting the ship for the next battle and was applying all of the modifications to all ships in the battle at the end of combat.
