I am just curious and ask myself why this icon is cut off at the top right.
Does it have a reason? Sorry, everything has to make sense for me :-/

    - It could be the sky, but no. The stars are there, so it is not.

    - Is it a dark nebula? No, it can not be recognized as one.

    - Is it somehow representing a dome or a building out of which the telescope is looking? No, the stars are there
    first before the cut off.

    - should it look like a button/sticker where the glue is going off? Maybe? Hmmm...

    - Maybe the conversion just deleted this part of the circle because in the galaxy view there is a faint dissolve in the graphic. When now converting to one color, it might have happened that it was cut off.
YES, this could be it. :)

Hmmm, what do you say. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Its more simpler than that, it has no meaning :). It was related with the UI theme. We agree with you, it does not make much sense without meaning, even more when in a important and intractable icon like that one, could be misleading. We will focus in this and other UI aspects in the following months. Thanks !
