I am sorry I never had this idea earlier.

MaybeI never had to find where the exploration happened and when nothing was found..
So when i read i.e. sector 6,5 I think, hmm, what is x and what is the y direction?! So to speak, what comes first?!
Well, if you have an old map or are drawing something, it is divided in sectors using on one axis the alphabet and numbers at the other axe.

So instead of 6,5 it would say F5. Its nicer to read, there is no misunderstanding and no harm is done :)

If it is still active, it will be colored. If it was a full survey, it will be deep black and you can select a new site.

Yes, you are right, but then the numbers are useless, almost.

edit: But thank you for the input, you are fully correct in this.
