Just an fyi, but seem we probably should not get to select ground combat, after colony is destroyed. Not sure, if I should get that question at all as I have no troops. Maybe we have a default number of marines on board?
Could you clarify what exactly happened? You mean, you destroyed the colony with bombardment, and then what did the game ask of you after?
It asked, if I was sure I did not want to use ground combat, as best as I can remember. I am not sure, if that occurred for colonies that were razed. I had no troops as I intended to bomb/raze all colonies.
The exact msg is "confirm you are done with ground combat". I went back an attacked the last race and got this after destroying Sol.
