By default, at what range does a point defense fire at a missile when its incoming? I'm mainly curious to know because it directly affects how much damage the PD does (and how useful the no range dissipation mod might be).
PD fires at an incoming missile at range 0. With the "PD All Targets" setting ON, it fires at non-incoming and passing by missiles as soon as the missiles are at range 7 or less. they fire more or less at range 2 against Fighters and Bombers (these don't get directly adjacent to their target). Of course, you can also fire the PD weapons manually, up until range 10.
