This may have come up, if so sorry. Often I will want a ship to go to location, but it is block by space debris. I then need to route it around a nebula or something. Then hope I remember where and why I wanted it to go, when I realize it is setting idle later. I tried to give it a secondary leg on the trip, but alt and cntrl did not let me add additional sites. Is there a way that I missed or did I just mess up the way I tried?
