You can go to systems that are connected via wormhole, without going to the wormhole. See attached file where you can move directly to a system outside of the displayed range area without going to the wormhole connecting it. Other systems still show out of range properly.
That's actually a feature. Travelling to a system is allowed as long as it's inside the empire's supply range. Since the wormhole between Pheon and Ekreins has one end inside your supply range, the other end is also considered inside supply range, and therefore you can travel to the other end of the wormhole from any place, as long as there's no dark nebula in between.
This one strikes me as odd. It means that wormholes act more like range extensions instead of wormholes. If wormholes maintained their limits it forces their strategic use.
Not exactly range extensions as it is only the destination of the worm-hole that is in supply. Any systems between one end of the worm-hole and the other, which are not in normal range, stay out of range. Perhaps an exclave of your range would be a better term
