Ok, I played a few more turns... and I'm going to break off for a couple of days while I recharge my batteries. The game has reached a stage where it is multiple battles every turn, and I need to be at my best to handle that. I'll come back to it at some point, and post after enough turns have passed to show more dramatic changes between the relative parties at war.
