Hello all, I took a break with ISG for a while but now started a new game. Imagine you are playing the Humans and the Draguul are attacking your planet. The planet has a Battlestation plus enough ships for defense. You have two options now: Include the Battlestation in the battle and wait for the attack or attack the Draguul without the Battlestation as backup. That has happened to me and I was asking myself if I still get the support of the Battlestation or the planet? The Air defense building i.e. gives me 20%, which can be very helpful.. Waiting for the attack causes a blockade and no Asteroid mining etc. bye, Björn
Bjorn, I don't know for certain, but I think it would be unlikely for the building/battlestation bonuses to apply in battles away from the planet. The AI is smart enough to know that it can't handle your fleet and the battlestation, so it is just going to blockade you.
