    We had a similiar report in steam forums and i've made the fix yesterday. I've repeated your combat a few times and did not get the issue.

    Was fighting against the AI when the end turn didn't work. I then found I could control them and fire at my own ship. It was at Inupenda (or similar name system, to the bottom right of the map)
