Followed an event and received 'Hyperdrive' technology. All good so far. However, it now seems I can Research a level VII 'Wormhole Stabilizer' tech, even though I have yet to complete a level IV in that same tree? I have had this tech a few times before but never noticed the follow-on. Never had Hyperdrives at ~T120 before.
To research a tech in a next level you need to have a tech researched in the level before, irrespective if there are tech "gaps" in that field. So, yes, it's working as intended.
Okay, thank you. I had thought it might be that way, it just struck me as *odd* Heh. Kind of like a caveman building the Eiffel tower because someone taught them to make an iron ingot. LOL
