Update 1.3.3 Released

One more small update to address a few issues and to add some important improvements, which should be particularly helpful for colorblind players.

Saves are 100% compatible with the previous 1.3.x versions.

This update is available on all stores. On Steam (it will auto-update), on GOG (will also auto-update) and DRM-free on Humble Bundle and Itchi.io (check for the latest version 1.3.3 on those stores).

Update 1.3.1 Released

Hello everyone!

It’s been a week since we released the free 1.3 update. We hope you are enjoying this new major update with all its new features and improvements.

In the meantime, we’ve been listening to your feedback, so here’s a patch that fixes some issues and adds a few important improvements.

Compatibility note: Saves from version 1.3.0 should be 100% compatible with this new version.

Interstellar Space: Genesis free 1.3 update released!

Hello everyone!

We are thrilled to announce that the new major and free! 1.3 update for Interstellar Space: Genesis is now available to all players! The base-game and the Natural Law expansion are now on sale in all stores to commemorate the release.

This update has been on the unstable branch for beta testing to make sure there were no major unforeseen issues for the smoothest official release possible. We’re happy to report that testing went very well, so we believe we’re in very good shape. Thanks to everyone who played the unstable build and provided feedback!

Hello everyone!

We’re proud to announce that the next major free update! for ISG is now available for public testing on Steam’s and GOG’s unstable Beta branches!

Please note that 1.3 unstable is an optional beta update. If you want to help test it alongside us you have to manually opt in to get access. For Steam, in your Steam library, right click on Interstellar Space: Genesis -> Properties -> Betas tab -> Select the “unstable – Unstable Beta Branch for Testing” branch. For GOG, in GOG Galaxy choose the ISG game card, then Options -> Manage Installation -> Configure -> Beta channels -> Select ‘Add private channel’ -> Insert password: betatesting and then select the “unstable” beta channel, which will be available from the channels dropdown...

Natural Law, ISG’s first expansion pack is now also available on GOG, as for the game’s Soundtrack DLC.

The base-game is currently on sale for 50% off during launch week!

Update 1.2.4 Released

This smaller update adds ‘auto-combat’ as an option directly from the combat encounter screen. Also, some diplomacy, AI and UI tweaks and a few bug fixes.

This update is available on Steam, Humble Bundle and Itchio. Instructions on how to get the update for all stores can be found here.

Saves should be 100% compatible. The diplomatic changes will require new games and new custom races to take effect though. Editing and saving your current custom races will do the trick even if nothing is changed and will allow your existing custom races to use the new diplomacy changes.

Update 1.2.3 improves the galaxy map graphics and more

Hello everyone!

We’re happy to bring you another Interstellar Space: Genesis update! This is mainly a graphics and polish update with major improvements done to the galaxy map graphics as for other QoL improvements and a few bug fixes.

The update is now available on Steam and on Humble Bundle and Itchio.

Compatibility: Saves from 1.2.2 should be compatible with this new version, but it’s advisable to start new games to benefit from the new improvements fully and to avoid any unexpected issues. If for any reason you wish to continue with the previous version, please use the Steam betas feature (“old_version” branch) to go back to that version.
